Common Questions

Can I claim my ute or work vehicle?

Yes. If you use a vehicle for work, you can claim running costs using either the logbook method or cents-per-kilometre method. We help you set up a logbook and maximise your vehicle deduction.

I pay subbies — what are my obligations?

If you pay contractors, you need to report those payments to the ATO via the Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR). Failure to lodge attracts penalties. We handle this for you.

Do I need to be registered for GST?

If your turnover exceeds $75,000 you must register. Some tradies register voluntarily below this threshold to claim GST credits on materials and tools.
